The magic of Irish music and culture

This female quartet has sold over 10 million CDs and DVDs and four million concert tickets worldwide, and in August, they will bring their new tour, “Ancient Land,” a global success, to Brazil.

The Irish female quartet Celtic Woman began their journey in 2005 and has since captivated a vast audience with their musical excellence and visually stunning shows performed on six continents.

The group will visit Brazil in August to present their new show, Ancient Land, in Rio de Janeiro (Theatro Municipal) on August 17th and 18th, in Curitiba (Teatro Guaíra) on August 22nd and 23rd, and in São Paulo (Credicard Hall) on August 24th and 25th, 2019.

Celtic Woman consists of the talented singers Mairéad Carlin, Éabha McMahon, Megan Walsh, and the virtuoso violinist Tara McNeill, who give a fresh take on centuries of Irish musical and cultural tradition, one of the richest in the world.

The show is based on the group’s latest album, Ancient Land (2018), their first studio album with new music since Destiny (released in 2016 and nominated for a Grammy). It was recorded at the famous Real World Studios in the UK, owned by rock star Peter Gabriel.

Ancient Land celebrates Ireland’s centuries-old tradition of storytelling through music, with themes of land, love, and dance, bringing a piece of Ireland to the stage through captivating songs.

In this beautiful spectacle, the stories are told through angelic voices and instrumental virtuosity, accompanied by spectacular dancers, masterful bagpipe players, and a band of renowned Irish musicians playing traditional Celtic instruments, including bodhrán, Irish whistle, bouzouki, and uilleann pipes.

Celtic Woman's rejuvenated fusion of traditional Irish music with contemporary compositions celebrates the country's history and reflects the vibrant spirit of modern Ireland. Their repertoire offers Irish classics, contemporary songs, global hits, and original compositions.

Celtic Woman has sold over ten million CDs and DVDs, becoming the only female group to achieve such success in the classical crossover and world music genres in the past decade, and they are a regular on Billboard's charts, the music industry's bible.

An unprecedented and unmissable show in Brazil!
