ANNE CARRERE: THE SPIRIT OF PIAF!
Anne Carrere is the first of a family of five children. Born on August 15, 1985, in Toulon (located in southern France), she is a young artist with an impressive resume. Anne studied a wide variety of dance genres (classical, jazz, breaking dance, etc.).

She then continued her studies in music theory, flute, and piano.

At the age of 12, she began voice lessons with Daniel Bastian and acting training with Didier Biosca. Her participation in the show Attention Mesdames et Messieurs marked the beginning of her exposure in the media. Simultaneously, the artist was a protégé of Michel Petrucciani, with whom she learned jazz vocals.

Sensitive, energetic, and determined, she maintained a rigorous schedule of artistic training and competitions while continuing her studies. After obtaining her high school diploma in literature, she joined her first band and became well-known in the show business.

In 2014, she was cast for Paris! Le Spectacle, which will go on a world tour in 2016. Producer Gil Marsalla, moved by her voice and personality, then decided to produce a show to celebrate the hundred years of EDITH PIAF's birth.

With over a hundred performances scheduled around the globe, including Brazil, Greece, Poland, and the United States – on December 19, 2015, the show will celebrate the date in Paris at Le Dejazet, with the presence of celebrities and media.

Anne constantly writes, creates, and innovates. She is truly a complete artist who invents and reinvents her art in a unique and rich way every time she performs. During the tour, Anne Carrere will be accompanied by four musicians: Philippe Villa (piano), Guy Giuliano (accordion), Fabrice Bistoni (double bass), and Laurent Sarrien (percussion/drums).

GERMAINE RICORD, FRIEND OF EDITH PIAF, MEETS ANNE CARRERE
A staunch fan of classic French songs, Anne participated in the 2014 casting call for the show “Paris! The Show.” Fascinated by the power of her voice and her natural charisma, Gil Marsalla, the producer and director of the show, immediately offered her the role of Edith Piaf in PIAF! The Show.

During the same period, Anne met Germaine Ricord, a friend and confidante of Edith Piaf, who toured with the diva for three years as a backing singer. Germaine also fell in love with this incredible voice and the way this young woman reminds her so much of her beloved friend.
