NANDO REIS – VOICE AND GUITAR
The show “Nando Reis – Voice and Guitar” offers the audience the opportunity to see the acclaimed composer in an intimate and unique performance. Stripped of the sound mass of the Infernais, the songs here are presented in their most elemental form: lyrics, melody, and harmony, just as they came into the world.
The chosen repertoire includes some of Nando's early hits, recorded by other artists, which have long been absent from his performances. This is the case with “Diariamente,” famously sung by Marisa Monte, which drew attention to him when he was still just the bassist of Titãs.

Nando is not only a great composer; the way he plays his steel-string guitar synthesizes the rhythmic sophistication of Gilberto Gil and the unusual chords of Neil Young, two of his honored masters in the show.
