Rod Hanna

Rod Hanna was born in Ribeirão Preto/SP and has since crossed the country's borders. With 20 years on the road, six CDs, three DVDs, music videos, and several shows, the band has made its mark.
Their first album, *Rod Hanna*, was produced by Kiko Zambianchi and featured nine original tracks and a cover of *You’ve Got a Friend* by Carole King, which opened doors to *Xuxa Hits*, a major platform for dance artists at the time.
In 1996, they recorded their second album, *Vinil*, where they openly embraced their 70s influence. They also released their first music video, directed by Geraldo Santos, which gained significant airplay on MTV.
In 1999, they released the album and music video *Disco*, featuring period costumes, which sparked a five-minute feature with Zeca Camargo on the TV show *Fantástico*. Since then, the disco revival fever has kept the band’s schedule full.
Following this, they recorded the live album *Disco Festa 1*, the retro-futuristic album *2070*, and the live album *Disco Festa 2*, which included a collaboration with DJ Memê on two tracks, including *Heaven Knows*.
In 2005, they released their first DVD, *Rod Hanna*, with special appearances by *As Frenéticas* and Kiko Zambianchi. The single *Pra Você Voltar* was a highlight on MTV, and the project also featured *Seguir Só*, produced by Memê and written by Rodrigo Laguna.
In 2009, they released their second DVD while touring Brazil with their show, directed by Ricardo Fabio, a musician and director of themed shows in the USA.

Since 2009, they have also been performing *Mamma Mia – The Show* with the British group ABBA Magic, selling out theaters wherever they go.
Currently, Rod Hanna is preparing to record a new album of original songs, in which they will continue to embrace the 70s musical style that has defined their 20-year artistic career.
