THE QUEEN EXTRAVAGANZA

DUE TO GREAT SUCCESS AND POPULAR DEMAND, IN SEPTEMBER IN BRAZIL,

THEQUEENEXTRAVAGANZA

PRODUCED BY ROGER TAYLOR AND BRIAN MAY

THE OFFICIAL QUEEN TRIBUTE BAND

After the resounding success of their first tour in Brazil in May, The Queen Extravaganza, the only official Queen tribute band, produced by the iconic drummer Roger Taylor and legendary guitarist Brian May—original members of Queen—returns to Brazil in September.

"The Queen Extravaganza is a show specifically designed to allow new fans, along with past fans, to celebrate Queen’s music in a breathtaking event," says Taylor. "It’s very spectacular, very visual, with some impactful moments and tremendous surprises. It will be a celebration of rock in the Royal tradition."

The band will perform on September 12 in São Paulo at the Credicard Hall, September 13 in Belo Horizonte at the Km de Vantagens Hall, September 14 in Rio de Janeiro at Vivo Rio, September 15 in Vitória at the Espaço Patrick Ribeiro, and September 17 in Brasília at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center.

In addition to production by Taylor and May, the show also benefits from the expertise of Queen’s long-time keyboardist Spike Edney, who serves as the musical director despite not touring with the band. The show was designed by Queen’s creative team, Ric Lipson from Stufish and lighting designer Rob Sinclair.

The 90-minute show features over 20 Queen classics, inspired by the band’s biggest hits: “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Under Pressure,” “We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions,” “A Kind of Magic,” “Radio Ga Ga,” “Somebody to Love,” and “Killer Queen,” as well as other fan favorites.

Brian May says: "Queen fans! This could be your only chance to see ALL of Queen's greatest hits performed flawlessly—LIVE!"

The band is made up of musicians personally handpicked by Roger and Brian. “These guys are incredibly talented, with their perfect and sparkling recreation of our songs,” says Roger Taylor.

Vocals: Alírio Netto

Alírio Netto joined Queen Extravaganza in 2018. On stage or in the studio, his powerful voice impressed Roger and Brian when he played Galileo in the Brazilian production of the musical We Will Rock You in 2016.

Alírio has accumulated accolades for his role as Judas in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as numerous praises from audiences and critics as a vocalist.

“Alírio is not only a superlative singer but also a great showman who presents our songs with tremendous talent,” says Roger Taylor.

Darren has been the keyboardist for Queen Extravaganza since 2015 and was also the keyboardist for the London production of We Will Rock You.
