“Good ideas actually come when we actually let go of the reins of our thoughts and try things that no one would have ever thought of working on”, reveals cellist Sonja-Lena Schmidt.

Pianist Anne-Monika Von Twardowiski goes further in defining Salut Salon's work. “It's all about breaking expectations, teasing people and even scaring them a little, and then picking them up and taking them somewhere new.”

The German group is influenced by innovative artists such as Astor Piazzolla and Camille Saint-Saenz, those who never imposed limits or restrictions on their creation. Passionate virtuosity, instrumental acrobatics, charm and a great sense of humor are hallmarks of the four instrumentalists' shows.

Coming from the German city of Hamburg, Salut Salon has already toured extensively throughout its home country and also throughout Europe, China, Russia, the USA and Latin America, always winning over the public with its energetic and innovative performances that showcase music. classic in a unique and seductive way.
