Seen by more than 5 million spectators worldwide, the acclaimed production A Night in Buenos Aires arrives in Brazil this October to celebrate its 50th anniversary, featuring the special participation of the renowned tenor Martín Masiello.
For a limited engagement of only two performances—October 17 at Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro and October 18 at Vibra São Paulo—the world’s record-breaking tango production brings together the greatest stars of Argentine music and the excitement of a historic encounter between two extraordinary artists: Maestro Carlos Buono, widely regarded as the world’s greatest bandoneon virtuoso, and Martín Masiello, the internationally acclaimed lyrical-pop tenor whose remarkable career has taken him across Europe, Asia, and North America. This marks his first-ever performance in Brazil.
Directed by Maestro Carlos Buono and Manoel Poladian, one of Brazil’s leading entertainment producers, the show is divided into two acts. The first presents the traditional tango performance, celebrating masterpieces by legendary composers such as Mariano Mores and Carlos Gardel, performed by Alberto Bianco and Nora Roca, accompanied by the Noneto Buoníssimo and world champion tango dancers.
The second act features the exclusive performance of Martín Masiello, accompanied by Maestro Carlos Buono and his orchestra. Masiello performs timeless international classics including The Phantom of the Opera, Por una Cabeza, and Bohemian Rhapsody, among many others. Showcasing extraordinary vocal versatility, his exceptional range and refined technique allow him to move effortlessly from tenor to bass, delivering an unforgettable musical experience.

CARLOS BUONO
Musician, arranger, conductor, and internationally acclaimed bandoneon virtuoso. Winner of prestigious awards including the SADAIC Award and the Golden Bandoneon Award, Buono has been hailed by the European press as the “King of Tango.” He has performed with some of the world’s most distinguished orchestras, including the WDR Symphony Orchestra (Germany), the Yerevan Opera Symphony Orchestra (Armenia), the Stravinsky Symphony Orchestra (Moscow), the Rome Opera Orchestra, and the Argentine National Symphony Orchestra, promoting the Argentine bandoneon and tango around the globe.
He has collaborated with legendary tango artists such as Atilio Stampone and Julio Bocca, and alongside André Rieu performed “Adiós Nonino”, with over 15 million YouTube views, as well as “Libertango”, which has surpassed 21 million views.

MARTÍN MASIELLO
Born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Martín Masiello is a lyrical-pop tenor celebrated for combining classical vocal technique with a contemporary repertoire. He began singing at the age of 13 at the legendary Teatro Colón, inspired by his grandfather, renowned baritone Marcelo Appugliese.
After spending several years in Japan, where he established his international career and developed his distinctive artistic style, Masiello has become recognized for his versatility, discipline, and unwavering pursuit of excellence.

NORA ROCA
One of Argentina’s leading tango singers and composers. Winner of the Cosquín National Festival, the Carlos Gardel Award, and recipient of a Special Mention from UNESCO’s International Music Council, Nora Roca has starred for decades in Buenos Aires’ most prestigious tango venues and spent 15 years performing internationally with A Night in Buenos Aires.
NONETO BUONÍSSIMO
A group of nine virtuoso musicians who have performed throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Consistently acclaimed by audiences, they also perform alongside Maestro Carlos Buono in the celebrated production Tribute to Piazzolla.

Widely regarded as the foremost interpreter of the works of Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel, and Alfredo Le Pera, Alberto Bianco is one of the most awarded tango singers in the world. He began performing professionally at age 13 before joining the orchestra of legendary composer Mariano Mores, touring Europe, Israel, the United States, and Mexico. His distinguished solo career has made him one of tango’s most celebrated voices.
