ABOUT IL VOLO
The history of IL VOLO is written in 2 different biographies ("An Extraordinary Adventure" and "Il Volo. What I bring in my Heart ") started in 2009, when the three young artists were as individual participants in the talent show of RAI1, "Ti lascio una canzone".  Revealed by Michele Torpedine, who have worked with great names like Andrea Bocelli and Zucchero, the trio quickly started an international artistic career, becoming the first Italian artist to be signed by an American label, Geffen Records.

Their first album, "Il Volo" (2010), hit platinum and landed on Billboard, propelled by international appearances on renowned programs like "The Tonight Show" and "American Idol". Their talents conducted them to collaborations with stars like Barbra Streisand and Plácido Domingo and participations in global events like "We Are The World for Haiti". In 2012, twelve shows with Barbra Streisand were a huge spotlight in ther career, just preceding the recording of their second album "We Are Love" (2012), with Placido Domingo and Eros Ramazzotti.

In 2015, IL VOLO consolidated their success at the Sanremo Festival with "Grande Amore", which became a success of sales and audiences, ledding the group to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest. At the same time, they launched the album  "L'amore si muove" and participated in sold out Tours in iconic Arenas like Radio City Music Hall and Arena de Verona.
The tribute to the Three Tenors José Carreras, Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti with the project "Notte Magica", in Piazza Santa Croce in Florence, reaffirmed their artistic excellence, combining great names of classical music with a successful world tour. In 2018, Il Volo did several presentations dedicated to human causes, as its "Concerto for the Forces of the country in Lebanon" and a special Christmas transmission from RAI 1. In 2019, the Italian trio presented in Panama for the occasion of the XXXIV World Youth Day in connection with Papa Francisco and more than 1 million people in the event that was transmitted to all the world.

After a decade of global success, IL VOLO continued to innovate, celebrating in 2021 the legacy of Ennio Morricone with a special show at Arena de Verona and the launch of the album "Il Volo Sings Morricone". In 2022, the year ended with "Il Volo - Natal in Jerusalem" (project by Michele Torpedine), and the trio unique voices joined the atmosphere of Terra Santa, serving as a cenario for an exciting concert.

After the success of their six special dates at Milan's Teatro Arcimboldi and their European tour across prestigious stages in 2023, IL VOLO launched a Christmas EP untitled "4 Xmas", containing four songs, including a special version of "Happy Xmas", "Amazing Grace", “O Tannenbaum” and “Feliz Navidad”.

In 2024, after 15 years of career, the trio began one of the most successful world tours, filling arenas in the most important capitals of the world. IL VOLO was also the protagonist of Tutti Per Uno - Capolavoro, a summer trip, among Italy's most striking places, including the monumental Piazza San Marco, in Venice. They also participated as a super-guest in a special event by Andrea Bocelli in Los Angeles. On Christmas Eve, the Christmas Concert recorded in the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento was broadcast in prime time on Channel 5.

IL VOLO last album, “Ad Astra”, was released on March 29, 2024 by Epic Records/Sony Music Italy, and on November 29, 2024, "Ad Astra" - International Edition was released with five new songs, including Capolavoro (English), music presented in Sanremo 2024 and Disco de Ouro.
