ARPI ALTO makes her Brazilian debut with a one-night-only performance
at Cavern Club in São Paulo
The singer-songwriter, a social media sensation in Brazil, blends bossa nova, jazz, soul, and the roots of her homeland, Armenia, in a one-night-only performance on November 27.

Armenian singer-songwriter Arpi Alto performs in Brazil for the first time on November 27 at Cavern Club São Paulo. The show is part of her "Almost You" tour, named after her debut album.

On stage, Arpi Alto explores jazz standards, Brazilian music classics, Armenian music, soul, and her own compositions, accompanied by a band of Brazilian musicians. Her repertoire is marked by emotional depth and an intimate connection with the audience.

Bossa nova holds a special place in Arpi's life, reflected in her personal and exceptionally elegant interpretations of songs such as "The Girl from Ipanema" and "Mas Que Nada."

The result is a dialogue between cultures: the rhythmic elegance of Brazilian music, the sophistication of jazz, the warmth of soul, and the emotional richness of Armenian heritage, all united by a common language of rhythm and emotion.

More about ARPI

Arpi Alto (Arpine Mikaeli Ter-Petrosyan) is an Armenian singer, songwriter, pianist, and independent artist. She is known for her contralto voice and unusually deep vocal range.

Classically trained in piano, she built the foundation of her career through choral, operatic, and band performances. She later developed her own solo style, moving between jazz, bossa nova, soul, traditional Armenian music, and international songs.

Among the highlights of her career are a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall in New York with the Naghash Ensemble, appearances at international jazz festivals across Europe and Asia, collaborations with French pianist and composer André Manoukian, as well as solo performances at the Armenian National Opera Theatre.
