AIR SUPPLY RETURNS TO BRAZIL FOR A SINGLE SHOW
Celebrating 40 years of an immensely successful career, Air Supply will return to Brazil for a one-time performance on November 16, 2016, in São Paulo, at the Espaço das Américas.
Shortly after meeting on the first day of rehearsals for the Australian production of the musical *Jesus Christ Superstar* in May 1975, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock realized they had many things in common.
More than forty years later, the duo, world-renowned for their numerous consecutive hits, celebrates 40 years of success with a Special Tour, which began in 2015. Due to its great success, they are returning to Brazil for a single performance on November 16, 2016, at the Espaço das Américas in São Paulo.
In the show, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock create an intimate yet relaxed atmosphere, filled with the romance that their repertoire has made famous worldwide. Hits like *Lost In Love*, *Making Love Out of Nothing at All*, *Sweet Dreams*, *Goodbye*, and *The One That You Love* are expected to be part of the night's setlist.
40 Years of Hits
In their debut album, released in 1980 by Arista Records, Air Supply soared to success with the hit *Lost in Love*, which reached #2 on the Billboard charts. This was followed by six more hits that made the American Billboard Top 5, including *The One That You Love*. With this string of successes, Air Supply tied with The Beatles for five consecutive Top Singles.
Since then, the duo has continued to produce hits, releasing new albums and performing to packed audiences with songs about love, ballads, pop, rock, and now even a touch of electronic music.
Their most recent album, *Mumbo Jumbo* (2010), was released with great success. It was their first studio album with new material since *Across The Concrete Sky* and featured songs like *Hold On* (a duet with Australian Michael Johns), *Dance With Me*, *Me Like You*, and *Faith In Love*. The duo has sold over 45 million copies, with the albums *Lost in Love*, *The One That You Love*, *Now & Forever*, and *The Greatest Hits* selling more than 40 million copies combined.
