LARA presents “Faíscas” in debut show at Blue Note SP
Presentation is part of the Rolling Stone Novas Vozes project and takes place on November 22nd
On November 22nd, LARA will be on stage at Blue Note SP through the Rolling Stone Novas Vozes project to present their debut album, “Faíscas”, which will be available on digital platforms from the 23rd.
Presenting a versatile setlist, but one that follows the principle and language of her first work, LARA is inspired by the different aspects of the world of arts and believes in the idea of that sound can create a space in the listener's imagination.
In addition to the original tracks, LARA will perform their versions of national and international hits, by young artists and others who have been on the road for longer, among the songs, “Maneater ”, by Daryl Hall John Oates; “Sweet Love” by Anita Baker; “Mutant”, Rita Lee; “Infinito Particular”, by Marisa Monte; and much more.
“It is an immense honor to debut at Rolling Stones Novas Vozes, even more so on the Blue Note stage, a place that welcomes artists of the highest quality, a space that celebrates culture and which values ??all types of music and artists. I am very happy to be able to exhibit my first work, in this intimate space that highlights the sound and themes covered in each track on my album Faíscas”, celebrates LARA.
The band that accompanies LARA is formed by Enzo Dicarlo (keyboards), Victor Kroner (guitar), Matheus Sonza (drums) and Lana Ferreira (bass).< /p>
ABOUT LARA
LARA, singer and songwriter, started at the age of 14 taking singing lessons and has not stopped to this day. Always dedicated to her studies, she graduated in Fine Arts and Art History, studied composition, photography direction, music production, sculpture, film direction, contemporary dance, piano and guitar. Previously, LARA worked with photography, video, assistant photographers and audiovisual in the studio of creative director Giovanni Bianco.
Despite always seeing herself as a singer and growing up in contact with the media and behind the scenes of TV shows, accompanying her father Fausto Silva, the artist had insecurities about the fact of singing in public. Courage came and LARA took on this profession. Therapy helped the singer see fear in a different way, giving a new meaning to the feeling. He left the place where he worked, reinvented himself and followed his dream in music.
In the beginning, LARA started recording covers and original songs to show her composition style. Claudio Vargas was her first mentor and the one who introduced her to the producer Mahmundi, who ended up producing LARA's first album.
LARA stands out on the scene for being an artist who has a clear vision of who she is and where she intends to go, faithfully following what her voice and instinct ask of her. itself, offering sophisticated and quality work. LARA follows the premise that art is everyone's right, serving as inspiration, entertainment, relief and emotion. As a source of inspiration, LARA draws from the most different artistic aspects, bringing together elements of cinema, literature, visual arts, dramaturgy, audiovisual, fashion and music. In the end, the languages ??are complementary and end up in scores.
Sound and image are intrinsically connected and inseparable. In LARA's works, the artist explores the potential of sound to create an environment, create a space through lyrics, production, voice for the public to not only hear, but experience. The audiovisual aspect of her work is extremely important, where she explores the images she visualizes when she creates her music. At this stage, LARA is inspired and brings the elements of surrealism and minimalism to the public.
Now, in her first work, LARA collaborated with different composers to build an experimental album that explores the way she communicates as an artist and composer. The lyrics play with the playful and the abstract, inviting the listener to complete, with their own emotions, the atmosphere created in this project.
