On World Tour, DANGEROUS GAMES - the new show by MICHAEL FLATLEY’S LORD OF THE DANCE arrives in Brazil this April
Finally, Brazil will be able to experience the latest show from the most celebrated and awarded dance production of all time: LORD OF THE DANCE – DANGEROUS GAMES. Seen by over 100 million people in more than 67 countries, the show will have a limited run in Brazil, with performances in Rio de Janeiro on April 3rd and 4th at Vivo Rio, and in São Paulo on April 5th, 6th, and 7th at Ginásio do Ibirapuera.
Created by dancer and artistic director Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance - Dangerous Games is a show that captivates the audience with a breathtaking blend of dance and music, combining traditional and contemporary elements. It amazes with the speed of its tap dancing, the physical vigor, and the strength displayed by its exceptional cast of 33 dancers.
The storyline follows the classic battle between good and evil. In his dream, the Lord of the Dance represents all the good in the world and must fight against the evil Lord of Darkness and his army.
Lord of the Dance - Dangerous Games features music composed by Gerard Fahy and premiered at the iconic London Palladium in September 2014. The show incorporates cutting-edge technology, including a giant flat screen spanning the stage, special effect lighting, dancing robots, and world champion acrobats.

Michael Flatley is a talented dancer, flutist, actor, director, and producer. He made a global impact in 1994 when he created Riverdance, a dance troupe that captured the attention of millions worldwide. Since then, he has created, directed, produced, and starred in numerous successful shows, including Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames, Celtic Tiger, and his latest production, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games.
Michael transformed the traditional Irish dance style by incorporating upper body movements and creating bold rhythm patterns from traditional steps.
Over the past 25 years, with Lord of the Dance, Michael has broken box office records worldwide, performing in football stadiums across Europe and Asia and becoming synonymous with artistic excellence and spectacular productions that captivate audiences.
In addition to being listed in the Guinness Book of Records for his phenomenal achievement of 35 taps per second, Michael's talent has been recognized through numerous awards for his contributions to the global entertainment industry, as well as for promoting and elevating Irish music and dance.
In February 2016, he gave his final dance performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and has since focused full-time on his other passions: creating, producing, choreographing, painting, and directing films.
His support for various charitable causes over the years has helped and encouraged many to embrace his motto, “nothing is impossible… follow your dreams.”
