Timeless, this is the best word to describe Michael Bolton, who is coming to Brazil in March 2018 for three shows: March 8 at Vivo Rio in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), March 10 at Hotel Tivoli Ecoresort in Praia do Forte (BA), and March 13 at Espaço das Américas in São Paulo (SP).
Winner of multiple Grammy Awards as a singer and songwriter, Michael has sold over 65 million records and continues to tour the world annually while writing and recording a variety of projects spanning music, film, and television.
Known for his distinctive voice and emotional lyrics, as well as his charm and good looks that earned him titles like "People Magazine's Sexiest Man," Michael has had 9 albums in the Billboard Top 10 and 9 #1 singles. In recognition of his artistic achievements, Michael has won 2 Grammys for Best Pop Vocal Performance (nominated four times), 6 American Music Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a songwriter, he has won more than 24 BMI & ASCAP Awards, including Songwriter of the Year, 9 Million-Air Awards, and the Hitmakers Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Internationally recognized, Michael has recorded and performed with musical icons who have inspired and influenced his career. Luciano Pavarotti, whom he honors by performing the aria "Nessun Dorma" at each of his concerts, Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, and Renée Fleming, and he played guitar with B.B. King.
A varied and prolific songwriter, Bolton has worked with some of the greatest composers and producers of our time, including Lady Gaga, Diane Warren, Desmond Child, David Foster, Walter Afanasieff, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, John "Mutt" Lange, Dann Huff, A.R. Rahman, Phil Ramone, and Ne-Yo, among others. He is one of the few artists to have co-written with the legendary Bob Dylan, resulting in the mega hit, "Steel Bars."
His songs have been recorded by a list of over 100 artists.
