The singer and songwriter Nando Reis will perform in Pelotas on March 18 in the most intimate show of his career. With over 30 years of experience, both as the bassist and vocalist of Titãs and in his solo career, Nando has always excelled as a band artist. Now, he takes on the stage alone, offering a special voice-and-guitar performance, bringing his audience a closer and more personal experience.
The show is part of the tour Nando Reis – No Recreio Voz e Violão, which also marks the release of his live album of the same name. Recorded in São Paulo last year, the album was produced by Nando himself and mixed by Jack Endino (Seattle, USA). In this stripped-down format, the songs are presented in their most raw form: lyrics, melody, and harmony, just as they were originally written.
The setlist is filled with iconic hits such as “All Star”, “Diariamente”, and “Relicário”. While these songs are well-known by fans, hearing them in this intimate setting offers a fresh perspective and emphasizes the depth of his songwriting.
Beyond being a great composer, Nando is also recognized for his unique guitar style. His steel-string guitar playing is a blend of the rhythmic sophistication of Gilberto Gil and the inventive chords of Neil Young, two of his major influences that clearly resonate in Nando Reis – No Recreio Voz e Violão.
