We will soon provide information about pre-sale and general sales for RITA PAVONE’s show in Porto Alegre on May 12 at Teatro Bourbon Country.

Thanks to hits like “Datemi Un Martello,” “Non Ho L’età,” and others, Rita Pavone became one of the most successful international artists in the world and in Brazil during the 60s.

After a few years away from the stage, the Italian star made a strong comeback in 2013 and has since been captivating audiences everywhere.

The time has come for her numerous Brazilian fans to relive their memories of this electrifying performer with a show that says it all: Rita Pavone Is Back!

The Brazilian tour will take place in May: 12 (Teatro do Bourbon Country - Porto Alegre), 15 (Teatro Positivo – Curitiba), 17 (Tom Brasil - São Paulo), and 19 (Vivo Rio - Rio de Janeiro).

The Brazilian passion for Rita Pavone began during her first and only performance in São Paulo, brought by the incredible success of “Datemi Un Martello,” a single released in 1964. It was a sensation! Scenes of delirium comparable only to those of the Beatles extended, even more deafening and intense, in Rio.

Her fame in Brazil during the 60s and 70s led to many babies being named Rita at the time, and even a tram line in Rio de Janeiro, running from Praça da Bandeira to Alto da Boa Vista, was named Bonde Rita Pavone, because the electric pole reminded people of the keys Rita used as part of her stage attire, along with tight black pants, pink or blue shirts, black belts, and leather ankle boots.

Rita Pavone was one of the first Italian artists to have a Brazilian fan club, titled "Pavonissimo," with a large number of members who, always very devoted and proactive, sought support from the record label and promoters to bring the artist back to Brazil. In 1976, her beautiful rendition of “Io Che Amo Solo Te,” by fellow Italian Sergio Endrigo, was featured on the global soap opera “Anjo Mau,” achieving great success.
